Home Learning Friday 22nd March
There is no new home learning this week. Please continue with the work on telling the time from last week (see above).
There are no new spellings this week - please recap on the plurals covered on the sheet from 25th January (see above).
New spellings and homework will be set after the Easter holidays.
If you haven't already handed in the Optional homework - please do so by Monday 25th March.

In addition: We are currently looking at adventure stories. In class on Wednesday, we will be designing posters about our favourite adventure stories. Please take some time to discuss this with your child. The story could be from a book or a film. As long as the 'problem' in the story is solved by the characters going on an adventure, then that is fine.

Home Learning 3rd May - due in Wednesday 8th May
Please check with your child which English group they are in:
If they are in FULL STOPS:

If they are in QUESTION MARKS, EXCLAMATION MARKS, COMMAS or BRACKETS:

This is reinforcement of our work on silent letter spellings.

This sheet is for all groups, however, for Blue and Red Maths groups, I would suggest using 2 cards to make a 2 digit number. You can target the next ten in the same way, but for the second part you target 100, rather than 'the next' 100. Please record this work in the pink book. Thank you.

IN ADDITION TO THE MATHS - for Monday 13th May
Next week we are continuing our work on prayer. It would be really helpful if you could bring in photo of yourself and someone who cares for you: Mum, Dad, Gran, Grandad, Auntie, Uncle - or anyone else who helps to take care of you. The photo will become part of your piece of work. If you do not have a photo, then try drawing a picture.

Please note: the spellings given this week will be tested on Friday 24th, even though it is World Week.
ALSO : No homework or spellings will be given over half term, although the Optional Homework is still running. Thank you for all the great projects that have come in so far - and I know there are still more to come.

OPTIONAL HOMEWORK - due in Wednesday 19th June
As I am sure you are aware, we are learning about Tropical Rainforests this term. For our final optional homework, I would like you to do something creative that links to the Rainforest. It could be a drawing, a painting, a model or similar. No need for any writing, other than a small explanation of what you have created. You can link it to the animals of the Rainforest, the music (we have been creating our own musical instruments in class), the people, the landscape or any of the other areas we are looking at. Photos of you working on the project with your family would be really appreciated - you can bring those in at any point - even if the project isn't yet finished. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
