What is the School Council?
The School Council is a group of children who have been elected by the children to represent each class in the school from Years 1 to 6.
The School Council allows children to raise issues and concerns, make decisions and get involved with the organisation of the school. All children in the school can have their say through the class and School Councils. Each class has an anonymous suggestion box for issues to be discussed at Class Councils and brought to School Council if necessary.
School Council also assists with the recruitment of new members of staff to the school, interviewing candidates with questions compiled by each class.
Each year School Council decide on a main charity that the school will support during the school year. This year we are supporting Child of Hope Uganda
Peter (Y4) and Williams (Y3) of the Child of Hope fund raising committee have issued this statement of thanks with regards to the fundraising toy and cake sale
